Meditation Tip: Using questions...
Questions can be helpful pointers to make that shift. A good question is, "What's going on inside my body?" Ask yourself this anywhere; while you're enjoying a moment in the park, standing in line in the grocery store or at bed time. The important thing to remember is that the question is just a pointer. So once you ask the question, do not try to answer it, just notice where the question points. "What's going on inside my body?" Feel the aliveness inside your body. Notice the inner energy or the inner body (as Eckhart Tolle) calls it.
Practice this at moments throughout the day. If you continue to practice this it will get easier and easier to withdraw your focus from the external to the internal; the place of true peace and joy.
