Vegan Chocolate Shake - Yummy
One of my favorite things to make recently is a Chocolate Shake! I love, love, love this! It's like the bad Chocolate shakes I would get at Burgerville, but only healthier :)
And it's super easy to make. I don't even really measure, I just throw things in my Vitamix. But I'll give you an estimate of the ratios I use...the great thing is you can adjust it according to your taste!
I put about a CUP of Almond Milk in the Vitamix. Then I add 1/2 to 1 frozen banana (depending on my mood). Then I put in 1-3 TB of Cocoa powder, again depending on how "chocolate-y"
I want it. Then I add 2-3 TB of Maple Syrup (depending on how sweet I want it) and here's the clencher...I add a TB of peanut butter, almond butter or cashew butter. I'm salivating just thinking about it. Then I mix it thoroughly, then add about 1/2 to 1 cup of ice, mix again and pour!
I love, love, love this. Maybe you will too! I think I'm going to go make one now!
