How Chiropractors Can Benefit from Copaiba

I'm so excited about this NEW Essential Oil from DoTerra.  It's called Copaiba.  It's derived from the resin of the Copaiba tree in South America.  It has been used by the Natives since the 16th century.

Copaiba is similar to Black Pepper and can help to soothe anxious feelings.  But the most exciting uses of Copaiba oil are as an antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and neuroprotective.  (See Disclaimer below)

The main component of Copaiba is caryophyllene, a major constituent of Cannabis.  But the essential oil, since it is NOT cannabis, has none of the psychoactive effects.  According to the National Institutes of Health, caryophyllene is a dietary cannabinoid.  The "plant volatile (E)-β-caryophyllene [(E)-BCP] selectively binds to the CB2 receptor and is a functional CB2 agonist.  Activation of the a CB2 receptor is a potential therapeutic strategy for the treatment of inflammation, pain, atherosclerosis, and osteoporosis."  (See LINK for more)

If you go to Pub Med and type in Copaiba, you'll see dozens of studies on Copaiba!  In fact, below is a short listing with LINKS to some of the articles:

And more....Go to Pub Med and type in Copaiba to see for yourself!

Chiropractors will love this to help their patients with PAIN.

"The selective activation of CB 2 may be considered a novel strategy in pain treatment, devoid of psychoactive side effects associated with CB 1stimulation."  LINK
